Review:

“[The text] is jazzy and upbeat with many colourful visuals, and the chapters are relatively short, which could help maintain student attention spans and their time management issues.”

“The effectiveness of [‘Think Readings’] is that everything is very clearly laid out for students to have as a model for critical thinking and analysis.”

--Mary Close, Canadore College

“I want a concise, interesting, and vibrant book (colourful, filled with pictures). This is what gives THINK Psychology an advantage over other books I have looked at.”

--Christina Besner, Champlain College Lennoxville

“The review and the questions at the end of each chapter of the Think text is better than those I have seen in other texts. Think Psychology also stands out above the rest in terms of its visual appeal and it’s use of the ‘Think Readings’....I think the Think Readings have a lot to offer especially for those more advanced students who are looking for a little extra from their textbooks.”

--Professor, Fanshawe College

“The ‘Think readings’ feature at the end of various chapters throughout are excellent articles which I would consider assigning to students for marks. I am always looking for ways to further engage my student population with real world situations in psychology.”

--Kristen Buscaglia, Niagara College

“I think these [‘Think Readings’] represent excellent examples of the kinds of thinking and elaboration that students should be doing when they read...[they] are interesting and relevant to the students’ lives, and they are not too ‘academic,’ a nice break from reading a textbook.”

--Professor, St. Clair College
