About the Author:
Mudrooroo was born in WA, Australia in 1938 and has since traveled extensively. He is active in Aboriginal cultural affairs and was co-founder of the Aboriginal Writers, Oral Literature and Dramatists' Association. He is a prolific writer of poetry, prose and criticism. His first novel Wild Cat Falling was published in 1965.
