From Booklist:
As the Maid of Dunsithe, Molly Gordon is thought to be the wealthiest heiress in Scotland, even though her family's fortune has remained hidden since the day Molly was taken from her home as a young girl. While living under the protection of her present guardian, the Laird of Mackinnon, Molly learns that she is about to have a new protector in the person of Finlay Mackenzie, who arrives with a notice from King James allowing Finlay to take possession of the Maid of Dunsithe. Even though Finlay may have received royal permission to marry Molly to whomever he wishes, he quickly discovers Molly is determined to have a say in the matter. A vivid Scottish setting, an engaging battle of wits between a strong-willed heroine and an equally stubborn hero, and a dash of fantasy in the form of some fairies all come together beautifully in Scott's latest Highland romance.
