Webster's New World Dictionary - Softcover

This new Pocket Books paperback dictionary is based on the acclaimed Webster's New World College Dictionary, Fourth Edition, published in 1999. It is a completely new work: the previous paperback edition was published in 1990 and revised in 1995. As were all previous editions, it has been edited for readers who need a reliable, up-todate, portable dictionary for use in the home, at school, or in the office.

The dictionary offers broad coverage of idiomatic expressions, supplements definitions with many helpful illustrative phrases, and provides brief but helpful usage labels and etymologies.
