Joining the search for Sir John Franklin's ill-fated voyage has long been a dream for Kit Killigrew; however, a captain more interested in personal glory than the safety of his crew turns the voyage into a nightmare. This most chilling adventure yet evokes in terrifying detail the true horror of an Arctic winter—the mind-numbing cold, the desolate landscape, and a darkness that permeates men's souls.
