About the Author:
Richard Neitzel Holsapfel, managing director of the Religious Studies Center publication office and professor of LDS Church history and doctrine at Brigham Young University, received his Ph.D. in history at the University of California, Irvine. His current research interests center on the Old and New Testaments, the Doctrine and Covenants, and Church history. Jeni Broberg Holzapfel attended BYU, studying classics with an emphasis in Greek New Testament. She has lectured with the Church Educational System. Richard and Jeni are the parents of five children and reside in Provo, Utah.
