About the Author:
Author Elizabeth Knight is well acquainted with the “must-sip spots” of New York City. She has known and loved the city for 22 years and currently serves as the Tea Sommelier at the city’s historic St. Regis Hotel. Beyond the Big Apple, Ms. Knight is frequently called upon as a tea and hospitality authority, sharing her knowledge of tea through speaking engagements, television appearances and as author of such popular books as Tea With Friends and Welcome Home. She also has written numerous articles on tea, entertaining and travel for Romantic Homes magazine and various tea publications. Bruce Richardson spends much of his time educating Americans in the art of celebrating afternoon tea. As a writer, photographer, tea blender and frequent guest speaker at tea events across the nation, he draws from his fourteen years of experience operating one of America’s best-known tea rooms – the Elmwood Inn in Perryville, Kentucky. Bruce is the author of six books on tea, including The Great Tea Rooms of Britain, The Great Tea Rooms of America, and The New Tea Companion. He is a columnist for Fresh Cup magazine and a contributing writer to several tea related publications.
