Basile, Gordy et capitaine Mimi sont surpris d'apprendre que leurs humains partent en voyage sans eux. Binky, Gordy and Capitaine Mimi are shocked to learn that their humans are going on a trip without them. Even worse, the "pet hotel" the space pets are taken to turns out to be the vet! They must escape! As long as they stick together, there is nothing they can't achieve... until they stumble upon a secret laboratory controlled by a professor who works for the aliens. Can the space pets stop her, save the vet and battle the aliens? Will they ever get back to their humans?

Ashley Spires graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design with a BA. She works as a multi-media artist, creating everything from web sites to handmade books, to finger-puppets. She is the author and illustrator of three books featuring Binky the Space Cat (Basile chat de l'espace) as well as Small Saul (Petit Paul) and C'mere Boy! (Chien recherche gar?on). Ashley also illustrated Scary Science (Le labo des malins) by Shar Levine and Leslie Johnstone. The artist lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
