About the Author:
Dr. Orison Swett Marden, orphaned at age nine, was a self-made man having put himself through school earning a Doctorate in both medicine (from Harvard) and law (from Boston University). He is widely considered to be the father of the Self-Help Movement in America. Most of the great motivational and inspirational speakers and authors of the 20th. century studied Marden. He wrote more than 50 motivational and inspirational titles of which "The Miracle of Right Thought" and "Pushing to the Front" are the two most famous and widely studied. Sun Publishing Company of Santa Fe, NM, is currently in the process of bringing "back to life" most of Dr. Marden's works.
