About the Author:
Sabrina Miller is a woman that God has developed in the field of ministry the old-fashioned way, through the practical experience of overcoming in Christ. From a traumatic childhood of abandonment, through marriage, child rearing, financial upheavals, all tempered with ongoing health problems, God has taught her how to be conformed to His image through the fellowship of suffering. Sabrina has found a life flavored with joy unspeakable and a passion for living in Christ as few have. Sabrina is now serving as a secretary/counselor to the family of Immanuel Baptist Church where she has the daily opportunity to minister the same hope to others that she has received.
Review:
A "Prisoner of Hope" by Sabrina Miller is a message of Hope. In a world of abuse and mistrust, she gives us divine insight into the darkened souls of tormented people. As you read this book you will find yourself just for a brief moment a prisoner with no Hope as she recalls the stories of childhood abuse. These were childhoods sown with the seeds of witchcraft and mixed with a perverted love. The wonderful surprise of this book to me was, as I engaged it, I found myself lifted by its enlightened answers to the oppressed ones. Sabrina has so clearly looked into each victim's prison and unlocked the lies that held them. As a pastor and a counselor, I was refreshed and encouraged by her overcoming the camp of the enemy. Thank you, Sabrina Miller, for such a wonderful book gifting us all with the keys to unlock our own dungeons and giving us Hope of glory, Christ in you! --Dr. Jim D. Standridge, Pastor, Immanuel Baptist Church
