About the Author:
Jacques Meuris (b. 1923 in Liege) is a writer, photographer and art critic; he is the author of numerous books, catalogue articles and commentaries on modern art, literature and photography. He is Professor Emeritus of the Ecole Superieure des Arts Visuels (La Cambre, Brussels), a member of the Libre Academie de Beigique and a director of the Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art (AICA).
