Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Reprint Edition. The interior of the book is clean and fresh, showing just a few signs of previous use. A small sheet of notepaper with the signature of Norman Hunter and the date Nov. 16, 1968, has been torn from a small notepad and glued to the front free end paper. The yellow covers show edgewear and light stains. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is also in Good condition, with edgewear and some darkening to the paper. Synopsis: The Professor is still inventing, from the automatic fire alarm which not only warns the fire brigade of a major blaze, but also records the Mayor of Pagwell lighting his cigar, to the lightening-change scenery machine in the theatre which becomes so unconrollable that it shos a view of the sea cost, with an oak ceiling and Chinese pagodas. But, undaunted, the Professor carries on inventing -- cricket machines, invisilbe glass, a deflatable house, and even a special kind of bomb which nearly causes Colonel Dedshott to be shot dead. Signed by Author(s).
